Initial Consultation
Our initial consultation provides the opportunity to gain an understanding of your vision. We offer a 90 minute in-home consultation for $165+ gst, which includes a pre-consultation phone call. This working session defines scope and enables us to prepare a proposal for design services tailored to you. It also gives you the chance to connect with us to ensure we are the right fit for you, before proceeding.
Design Proposal & Fee Estimate
You will receive a detailed fixed fee proposal unique to your scope of works and tailored to your functional requirements.
Defining Your Style
We establish the brief. This appointment generally occurs in your home or at the Wellington Design Library. The aim is to further explore your style, preferences and how you want your home to feel. At this stage I would generally pre-select a concept to further clarify your preferences and aesthetic.
Concept Presentation
This stage involves presenting you with the design concept. We will review this together to ensure you are in love with your overall design. Most people find concept presentation the most exciting part of the journey.
Finishing Schedule & Quotations
Once final selections are confirmed, we will email you a Finishing Schedule document. This becomes the reference guide for all specified products for your renovation to commence, enabling you to confidently start your project with a cohesive aesthetic as your end result. Quotations for products supplied by us will be provided at this stage for your approval.
Project Management & Construction
If required, we can assist you further with a full concept to completion service via our construction company, please see matthewpalmer.nz for further information. Or we can simply make contact at certain points in your project to ensure all the little details are not overlooked. You can decide our continued level of involvement.
